4536 is one of those remote 2-point summits way out by Table Rock and the Molalla River Corridor that takes a while to get to. Plan 2.5+ hours from Portland, each way. I would combine this with Baty Butte to make it worth your time.
Make your way to (44.96104, -122.41135) and proceed up the Middle Fork of the Molalla River. In 8.2 miles at (44.98765, -122.27268), stay left, ascending Joyce Lake Road. Drive for 7.7 miles, turning right at (44.93294, -122.24938). Drive 0.4 miles, turning left at (44.93423, -122.25319) and continue 1 more mile to the parking spot at (44.93472, -122.26721). Now, the initial hike is on an old two-track road that could be driven for another 0.4 miles. Your call.
The hike starts at the parking spot and follows an old road until (44.93869, -122.27034). It then proceeds straight ahead on an old jeep track (it looks like a hiking trail). Continue for about 0.2 - 0.3 miles where it ends. Bushwhack up and to the left a bit, following the left side of the ridge up sometimes steep terrain to a small open area at the summit. The bushwhack is maybe 1100 linear feet and 400 feet of ascending, short and steep with varied terrain, vegetation, tree fall.
I would absolutely record and/or have navigation aids with you on this hike. It would be easy to get off course back here. I recorded my track which is in SOTA Maps and SOTL.AS. Bring GPS or whatever nav technology you enjoy.
