This is a good early-season summit. Had north on Tr. 481 (The Heart Lake Trail) from the Indian Meadows Trailhead northeast of Lincoln. The trail will soon cross a swale/ephemeral creek that comes in from the left just before the trail swings right and climbs to a low pass. Bushwack up the right (north) side of this drainage and then head directly up to the summit. The hike is a fairly easy bushwack with some deadfall and regen from the 1988 Canyon Creek fire. The summit is forested. It is in Grizzly country, so take appropriate precautions (carry bear spray & make noise).Peak 6333
