This is a decent stop-off on the way to the Marys Peak day use area. The easiest approach is from the west, which has the least gain and the shortest path up to the logging roads up there.

I parked at the lot at 44.4815, -123.5357, and proceeded up where I saw a ribbon. There's a pretty followable path for at least a short distance, but it peters out after a tenth of a mile. The ridge is a bit of work to follow, but after another 0.2 miles you'll make 44.4810, -123.5310, and hit the road. The rest of the way is on the road, turning right at 44.4808, -123.5285 and then again at 44.4805, -123.5254, and this road curls up and around to the summit. My recommendation is not to bother with going straight up or down here - I went up on the road, and down the hill, and the hill was miserable.

I worked six on VHF, and one on 1296.2, K7RMO at ~107 km.
