This summit is a horrible bushwhack, and like many of the summits in this part of the Gifford Pinchot, it's barely worth the points considering the effort it takes to climb it. It's steep and brushy and about the only nice thing I can say about it is there's no devil's club to contend with. You would think, upon finally obtaining the activation zone, that the return trip would be easier, but it is not. It's worse because you can't see where you're putting your feet.

There are cliff bands hidden between those topo lines, and once you find the gap between those, your progress is impeded by 42" diameter tree trunks lying on the ground that you have to climb over, but they're rotten, so they fall apart as you're climbing over them. I've summited this thing twice, and part of why I'm writing this review is to remind myself not to summit it again.

The activation zone is open to the East, but the slop is too steep to be traipsing around on so you'll be wise to just set up in the trees anyway.

There are better, easier 4 pointers nearby. You can safely ignore this one until you've activated all of those. Drive on.
