Start by going through Falls City crossing the brige to Chamberlain road which will turn into Valsez road. Now this is a long trip on logging roads out and back. Over 40 miles round trip. Follow signs as if you were going to Valley of the Giants. https://www.oregonhikers.org/field_guide/Valley_of_the_Giants_Trailhead

As you are following the North Folk of the Silez river you will come to a road called the S-Line only a few miles from the trailhead to the VOG. You will turn right here at (44.920 -123.696) Follow this for about 7 miles and turn right at (44.9032 -123.65726) after that take your next right, then take the next left. This will take you all the way to the summit. The last 1/2 mile requres a 4x4 vechicle. You can drive to the top if you have enough guts. I decided to walk about 1/4 mile of it which there is a spot to park and get turned around with a full size truck. Nice easy walk and when the weather is nice views all the way to the ocean can be seen.

This area is subject to closure during fire season.
