- If you have data coverage, go looking for another Activator - call "Summit-to-Summit (or S2S) to get their attention.
- On 40m, try activating around 7.030-7.040-cw or 7.180-7.210-ssb .
- On 20m, try activating around 14.060-14.065-cw or 14.290-14.347-ssb.
- Leave your HT turned on to 146.52 could help you catch another Activator calling CQ!
- Instead of CQ, try once in a while calling "S2S" on CW and "QRZ Summit-to-Summit?" on phone.
- Post an alert - you can use W7W/xx-xxx or W7O/xx-xxx (use your Association reference) if you don't know your summit yet.
- For your alert or spot, note in the comment field that you are looking for S2S!
The ARRL 222 MHz and Up Contest is the same weekend - try 446.00-fm on your HT and you might get a contact on a new band. (Exchange is six digit grid or lat/lon.)
