SOTA Activities
I activated a few SOTA peaks last summer (2011). I have an IC-703PLUS and a Kenwood TS-480SAT for portable use with a Superantenna MP-1 homemade dipoles. I also have a Kenwood TH-D72 mainly for APRS work. My base station is not condusive to being a chaser. I am a lurker on NASOTA.
Bio
I live in Yakima, Washington and work as an entomologist for the WA State Dept of Agriculture. I spend a lot of time hiking with some bicycling in the mountains. In the summer I lead some hikes for the Washington Native Plant Society and chase winter insects when snow is on the ground.
