I have only Chased so far. About 5 good peaks Near Tucson. Have a 15 watt rig for 20 and getting a 25 watt rig for 40. With shortened dipoles as antennas.

Novice in the late 60s. 24+ years as a short run trucker and CBer. Now a Extra Class Ham. Moved from Az. to Ohio about two years ago. Am trying to chase from here. Had a few 2 meter SOTA QSOs in Tucson and one Mt. Shasta QSO on 40 meters. I have yet to have a QSO from here. But I keep trying. Have been getting Gear for a Summit Attempt.
