New Ham looking to get started on SOTA and other portable events. As of current, I am almost ready for 2 meter SOTA. I purchased a FaraJ 2 meter antenna and am looking at buying a telescopic mast (unless there is a tree that works). Also, just purchased a Yaesu 818 from a Discord group I am in.
