There is no signage at the gate. The gate is a bit up the road from the highway and there is room to turn around or park, but we parked just off the highway.
Three of us did the hike: Eteinne, K7ATN, Guy, NS0TA, and myself.
It was 8 miles RT and 2400 feet of elevation gain. Walk was on a well graveled road and would make a good bike route, if a bit steep in places. There was one turn we had to contemplate at 45.46820, -123.7168. Going straight is the correct choice.
