I activated these two peaks, NC116 and 118, during summer 2021. At the time, Weyerhaeuser had recently taken ownership of the parcel, and marked the area as open to public walk-in access. Unfortunately, Weyerhaeuser has now moved this land under a lease. Unless you can identify the lease owner and join their club for legal access, these peaks are no longer accessible to activators.

Recently, the Weyerhaeuser web site has stopped showing this parcel as a lease, nor showing it as a permit. I have no additional information, but perhaps the lease wasn't effective, and they've chosen to return it to public non-motorized access. Next time you're near Neskowin, perhaps stop by the gate at (45.13273, -123.96257) and see what the signage says. If more intel is desired, email me and I'm happy to share tracks.
