Just east of Trion, Georgia is this easy to access hike on the Pinhoti Trail to Taylor Ridge.

About 1.2 miles north of the light at Central Avenue (that leads into Trion) on Highway 1 turn east onto Mountain View Rd. It's paved a good portion of the way and after a while turns to well-graded gravel - it's easy to get to the trailhead in a passenger car. After 3.7 miles make a sharp turn to the south onto Black Springs Creek Road. Although this road is narrow it's actually graded a bit nicer than Mountain View. Continue about a third of a mile to a small pullout and a sign for the Pinhoti Trail.

The trail is wide and well-graded (looks like it was once a road) and leads directly to the summit after about six tenths of a mile. At the summit there's a large rock in the middle of the trail to set up on - a perfect spot.
