N/A Maury Island was recently added to the SOTA database so I was super excited to do this activation with my wife, even though it was only a one pointer. The island is accessible from Vashon Island, which is a ferry boat ride from West Seattle or Tacoma. One could easily get on the ferry boat with their bicycle and bike to this summit.
We chose to take our car on to the ferry and park at the designated parking lot on the north end of the Marine Reserve. This resulted in about a 1-1/2 mile walk to the summit. We chose to walk back to the car via the road.
One could pretty easily drive to near the summit and park near the Overlook.
